About Mike
Since high school I have enjoyed working in the trades. I have worked for contractors, property management companies, as well as for myself. Each of these experiences has given me a wide perspective of what a house is made up of and what is necessary to keep it safe and in good working order.
Married since ’07, my wife and I stay very busy raising our two boys. Sports, arts, entertainment, outdoor recreation, we take in much that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I am also a consistent community volunteer as well as a frequent blood donor. An accomplished musician since my teenage years I still can be found performing and teaching around the region. Mention music at your own discretion.
Why am I a Home Inspector and not a House Inspector? Simply put, a house is a structure with mechanical systems while a home is where we live our lives. I believe my dedication is to the enrichment of our home lives. Holidays, birthdays, many important events of our lives take place in homes. As a happy father of two I know very well the importance of a safe, working home. I take that attitude as my working mantra of a home inspector. What would I want for our family?
Of course a home is also a house and a house is probably the largest monetary decision most of us will ever make. We all want to make sound judgements based on facts. Knowledge is power. That’s where I come in. I can’t tell you what is right for you and your situation. I can inform you with an objective assessment of the house so you have what you need to move forward with confidence.
